Do I need special hardware?
No. StreamPad runs on the iPad, iPhone, or tablet you already own, plus a small free app on your Windows PC. There's no Stream Deck to buy.
Is it really free?
Controlling your PC on the same Wi-Fi is free forever. The Pro tier ($9/mo) adds remote control from anywhere, cloud sync, and a web dashboard — with a 30-minute trial, no card needed.
How does it connect to OBS?
OBS 28+ has a WebSocket server built in. Enable it in Tools → WebSocket Server Settings, and StreamPad connects automatically.
Does it work over mobile data?
On the free tier, your iPad and PC need to be on the same network. Pro adds a secure cloud relay so you can control your PC from anywhere, including mobile data.
What can I control?
OBS scenes and streaming, per-app audio, camera and mic kill switches, a soundboard, show flows, Twitch/YouTube chat, DaVinci Resolve shortcuts, and general Windows shortcuts.
